Simple Syllabus has been purchased at KPU to support the creation, dissemination, and archiving of the consistent and accurate course syllabi across the institution. As we prepare for the fall semester, and work on the integration of Simple Syllabus with other KPU systems such as Moodle and banner, the following temporary course syllabus template has been created to familiarize faculty with the fields as they will appear in Simple Syllabus while the system is being built. This article contains:

Note: We have noted the sections that we believe will auto-populate when the platform integration is complete. In the meantime, sections highlighted will have to be completed manually (as you have done in previous templates).


Important Note: The areas highlighted in yellow can be removed as follows.

1. From the SimpleSyllabus Template Document, click on the review tab

2. Next Click Restrict Editing

3. A window pane will open on the right side of your screen. Uncheck the “Highlight the regions I can edit”
