To allow new students in ENTA Courses on Teams to view assignments with due dates before they were added to the course, you need to make two settings adjustments: one at the Teams level and another in the assignment itself.
Changing the Teams level Settings:
1. Go to the Teams course where you want to make changes.
2. Click on the "Assignments" tab.
3. Click on the gear icon (wheel icon) located at the top.
4. In the Assignment Settings page, enable the setting "New students will receive assignments created before they joined the class. " This setting is usually disabled by default.
Changing the Assignment Settings:
1. Now, navigate to the assignment you want to enable for new students within the course.
2. Click on the three dots (ellipsis) to the right of the assignment name and select "Edit."
3. Scroll down and click on the dropdown where it says “All Current Students”. From the dropdown menu select the “All Current and Future Students”
4. Click on the "Update" button from the bottom of the page.
