The Zoom Cloud Meeting app allows you to schedule a Zoom meeting directly on your smartphone. The app is available to download on Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). Once you have installed it on your phone, follow the steps below to schedule a meeting:


  1. Open the Zoom app and sign in with the SSO option (kpu-ca.zoom.us). Same instructions as for signing in to Zoom desktop.

  2. Select Schedule on your Zoom mobile home screen.

  3. Similar settings as Zoom desktop. Give your meeting a name and set a date. If this meeting is supposed to be recurring, set the Repeat option. Scroll down and review other options and set them as appropriate. Select Done.

    (Note: It might prompt you "Allow Zoom to access your Calendar?". Select Allow if you want Zoom meetings to appear in your mobile Calendar to remind you.)
  4. The Add to Calendar button will add your meeting to your phone's default calendar.

    You can tap Invite to send the invitation link through your KPU Email account if you have set it up on your phone. Else, you can provide the Meeting ID to attendees to join the meeting.

  5. Tap on the Meetings tab at the bottom to see your meetings. Select Start to initiate the meeting session right away.
