This tutorial will show you how to save your BigBlueButton video recordings into Kaltura. This allows you to keep a copy of the your video recording after your Moodle course goes away and by uploading your BBB recordings to Kaltura, it will allow you to share the video with your students without the public chat being shown in the video.
Download the BBB recording
When the session has ended, the recording will be made available in the BBB module page, under the "Join session" button in a section named "Recordings." Click on the "Video" button to play the video.
To download a recording, right-click within the playback area and choose "Save Video As...". The video will have a resolution of 720p. It will be 150 MB in size per hour of recording.
Once you've downloaded the BBB recording, follow the steps to upload your video to Kaltura My Media.
