This article guides faculty, tutors and workspace managers on navigating the updated ATLAS interface in PebblePad. The new interface provides improved navigation, clearer layouts and faster access to workspaces, submissions and reports.

1. Open PebblePad and navigate to your ATLAS dashboard.

2. On the left-hand side, you will see a collapsible menu.

3. In Classic ATLAS, the search bar only allowed users to find Workspaces. In the new ATLAS, search now includes Workspaces, Users and Assignments providing easier access to relevant content.

4. The new ATLAS search allows you to refine results using filters.

  • Name – Filters search results by the title or name of the workspace.

  • Status (Active vs. Setup) – Filters Workspaces based on whether they are Active or still in Setup.

  • Roles (Number of Members / Number of Managers) – Filters based on the number of participants or managers in a workspace to find large or small workspaces quickly.

  • Date Created (Ascending / Descending) – Sorts results by when the workspace was created.

5.From the Workspace list, Click the arrow next to a workspace to expand its details.

6. This reveals key information without needing to open the full workspace like Member Counts, Manager Roles, Submission Volumes, Workspace Status, Links, Creation Date etcetera.

7. From the dashboard, you can Archive, Pin, Edit, or Delete a workspace by clicking the three dots (ellipsis) on the right of the workspace drop-down menu.
