This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to create a backup of your Moodle course and download it to your device.
1. Log in to Moodle and navigate to the course you want to back up from My Courses tab.
2. Click on the course you wish to download and then navigate to the More button present in the top course navigation menu.
3. From the dropdown menu, now select Course Reuse.
4. In the next window, click on the dropdown on the left-hand side, then choose Backup option.
5. Once inside the Backup settings page, scroll to the bottom and select Jump to final step.
6. Once you have completed the steps, wait while Moodle processes your backup file.
Please note that the processing time may vary depending on the size of your course.
7. Once the backup is complete, click on Continue.
Download Backup to your device
Once the course backup is complete, you will be redirected to a page where you can download the backup file to your device.
1. Click on the Download link present next to your backup file.
2. Your file will be saved to your Downloads folder by default.
