Dear faculty members,
We invite applications from regular and NR-2 faculty for up to two 12.5% time-release positions to collaboratively develop an online Faculty Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR) Assessor training module and associated reference guide. The purpose of the module will be to offer training to faculty members in principles and effective practice in the assessment of PLAR applications in line with university policy AC6: Recognition of Prior Learning and its associated procedure.
Each position will receive a one-section time release planned for either Fall 2021 or Spring 2022, and will be searched in accordance with Article 2.03 of the KPU-KFA Collective Agreement.
Applications from candidates with significant post-secondary experience in assessing applications for PLAR, knowledge of competency-based assessments, e-portfolios, and/or instructional design for online delivery are especially welcome to apply.
