There are two methods to viewing a quiz from a student perspective. One method involves changing your role to a student, and the other is previewing the quiz as an instructor. Both methods provide the same view of a quiz, although the first method can only be used if your quiz is visible to students. This guide covers both methods.
Method 1: Changing your Role
- Navigate into your Moodle course
- Click on the Image icon in the top right corner.
- From the drop-down list, click "Switch role to..."
- Click on Student tile.
- Navigate to the quiz.
- You are now viewing the quiz as a student would.
Note: This will only work if quiz is set to visible for student.
Method 2: Previewing a quiz
- If quiz is hidden from student, Instructors can navigate to the quiz and click the Preview button to view the quiz as student.
