This resource is a step-by-step on how to record the screen on your iPad/iPhone.

In iOS 14 or later, and iPadOS, you can create a screen recording and capture sound on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Record your screen

  1. Go to Settings > Control Center > then tap  next to Screen Recording.

  2. Open Control Center by swiping down the upper-right corner of the screen.

  3. Tap and hold gray record icon button, then tap microphone (if you want to record your voice) then tap Start Recording and wait for the 3 second countdown.

  4. To stop recording, tap red record icon or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.

  • Go to the Photos app and select your screen recording. Some apps might not allow you to record audio. You can't record your screen and use screen mirroring at the same time.
