Privacy settings determine who can see or not see your WordPress site. You can change your privacy settings of your site in the Dashboard Navigation > Settings > Reading.
Setting your site privacy setting
You will be asked to select a privacy setting when setting up your WordPress site.
The first option means you want your site to be public to the world wide web, the last three options mean you want your site to be private.
