In KPU's controlled WordPress environment, one can't install themes as they wish. This is because KPU's WordPress environment is a multi-site install, which means that themes will be installed across all the sites when installed.
If you want to test out a theme, go to https://wordpress.com/themes. This is a great way to test-drive different themes. Once satisfied, submit a service request on the T&L/IT Service Portal with the following details:
- name of theme you want to install
- link to theme
