The following tutorial provides step-by-step solution on how to download a video uploaded to Kaltura onto your desktop computer .


You must be the owner of the video to download the media file.

Step-by-Step Tutorial

  1. Go to the media you want to download. Click on Actions > Edit.
    Click on Edit
  2. Click on the Downloads tab and select Source. (Selecting "Source" means you will download the Source/original video file.) Click Save, then Go to Media.

  3. In Moodle: Click on the Drop-down menu next to Details. Then click on Download to proceed to download the media file.

    In media.kpu.ca: Click on Download to proceed to download the media file.
    Click on Download
