You can randomize your quiz questions in Moodle. This article will show you how to do that.

Creating the category

1. From your course, click More then Question bank from the red navigation menu.

2. From the drop-down menu at the top of the following page, click Categories.

3. From the Categories page, click Add category found at the top of the page.

4. Give the category a Name and select the Parent category.

5. At the bottom click Add category.

6. From the drop-down menu again, select Questions.

7. Select the Questions by checking them off to the left.

8. At the bottom of the page, click With selected and select Move to...

9. On the next page, select the newly created category and click Move to.

Randomizing your Quiz

1. Navigate to your Quiz and click Questions from the red navigation menu.

2. From the Questions page, click Add on the right side and select a random question.

3. From the popup, select the Category that we created and the number of random questions. 

4. Click Add random question when finished from the bottom of the popup.
