If the security of your online exams or other high stakes tests is a significant concern, the most secure option is to offer them in a monitored environment such as a teaching computer lab on campus. Teaching labs at Kwantlen have class management software (LanSchool) that allows teachers to monitor student stations and to control what programs and access students have. (Note version 7.5 has been tested and will block Firefox and IE sites--earlier versions do not work with FF. By summer 2011, all student labs should have 7.5)
