This article will show you how to set subscription settings for Forums on Moodle.
Checking Forum Subscription
1. Navigate to your Moodle course and Turn Edit mode On.
2. Underneath Edit mode is the block menu. click Add a block.
3. Select Activities from the Add a block menu.
4. Click on the Forums option in the block Activities.
5. Set your subscription status by clicking Subscribe/unsubscribe to all forums from the top right corner or set subscription for individual forums.
Auto-Subscribing to a Forum
1. Click on your Profile button from the top right corner in Moodle and select Preferences.
2. From the User account section, click Forum Preferences.
3. Under Forum preferences, Choose Yes or No from the Forum auto-subscribe drop-down menu.
