Feedback files allows instructors to attach marked up student assignments, documents with comments, completed marking guides, spoken audio feedback, and more, into the student's feedback area on a graded assignment. This eliminates the need to email each student graded files regarding their assignment.

To enable feedback files, enter the assignment you would like to enable this option for.

(Note: You will have to enable this option individually for every assignment you need feedback files for. This option is not enabled by default).

  • Click the gear icon on the right side of the page

  • From the drop-down menu, click "Edit Settings"

  • Scroll down and click the "Feedback Types" heading

  • Click the checkbox to enable "Feedback Files"

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save and display" or "Save and return to course" to save changes.

When you mark your student's work, you'll now find an area at the bottom of the grading page to upload any file to appear in the student's feedback section.

  • You can confirm the file was uploaded for the student when you are in the "View all submissions" page

When your student's check to see the mark they received on the assignment, they will be able to download and review the file that you have uploaded for them.
