This guide will provide instructions for allowing students to re-submit their assignments.


Reverting the submission to a draft


In order to allow a student to remove their submission and upload their new version, you will have to revert their assignment to draft mode.

  • Go to the assignment's page.
  • Click on “View all submissions”.



  • Look for the student that you would like to allow for re-submission.
  • In the “Edit” column, click on the “edit” button for that student and select “Revert the submission to draft”.



  • Notify student that they are now able to re-submit their assignment.



(Note: the re-submission will still be noted as “overdue”. However, you are able to grant an extension for that student so that it is not marked as such).



For granting Extensions...

  • Go to the assignment's page.
  • Click on “View/grade all submissions”.



  • Look for the student that you would like to grant an extension to.
  • In the “Edit” column, click on the “edit” button for that student and select “Grant extension”.



  • Select the date you would like to grant an extension until.
